A makeup artist for many years adorning the faces of celebrities and models in Hollywood, Annie Ing is passionate in making her clients look and feel beautiful. Known for her clean editorial touch, it is not surprising to find Annie on set with Mira Sorvino or applying Lisa Edelstein's red carpet makeup for the Golden Globes party.
Annie's unique style of makeup developed during the period of time when she lived in New York City. Her break came when renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath chose Annie as her first assistant. Annie assisted Pat on advertising campaigns in New York City, fashion shows in Paris, Milan and editorial shoots for Vogue. After 12 months, Annie branched out on her own. She was booked on photo shoots with Vogue, Teen Vogue, V, advertising jobs, and started working with celebrities such as Susan Sarandon and Rachel Hunter. Working in New York City for 4 years shaped Annie's confidence, makeup artistry and prepared her for Hollywood.
Annie's philosophy for beautiful makeup starts with skin preparation. Moisturizers to hydrate the skin followed by foundation and concealer were needed. Because the skin is not hidden the finished makeup look is fresh and glowing. Every woman feels beautiful. Annie's desire to learn more about the skin and skincare ingredients, led her to pursue an education in esthetics. With her esthetician's license, Annie is excited to provide facials and makeup services that will leave her clients feeling pampered and simply beautiful.
